甘肅警察職業(yè)學(xué)院是由甘肅省人民政府批準，中華人民共和國公安部、中華人民共和國教育部核準的一所專科層次的全日制公安高等職業(yè)學(xué)院。[1]學(xué)院的前身是創(chuàng)建于1949年9月的甘肅人民公安學(xué)校，1978年恢復(fù)辦學(xué)后稱甘肅省公安學(xué)校，1980年更名為甘肅省人民警察學(xué)校，2001年7月經(jīng)甘肅省人民政府批準升格為甘肅警察職業(yè)學(xué)院。[1]據(jù)2018年9月學(xué)校官網(wǎng)顯示，學(xué)院總占地面積將近2000畝，校舍建筑面積超過20萬平方米，開設(shè)17個專業(yè)，有專任教師200余人，全日制在校學(xué)生4000余人。

Gansu police vocational college is approved by the people's government of gansu province, approved by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China is a full-time public security vocational college of junior college level. [1] The college was formerly known as Gansu Provincial People's Public Security School founded in September 1949. It was renamed Gansu Provincial People's Police School after its operation resumed in 1978. In 1980, it was renamed Gansu Provincial People's Police School. [1] According to the official website of the university in September 2018, the college covers an area of nearly 2,000 mu, and the building area of the school is more than 200,000 square meters. It offers 17 majors, has more than 200 full-time teachers and more than 4,000 full-time students.
