缺少勒布朗的季后賽真的是超現實的啊。

I was reading this article on 538 about the Lakers potentially missing the playoffs. Most people are focused on LeBrons 8-year finals streak ending, but the wider implications of him missing the playoffs entirely are starting to dawn on me.

LeBron has not missed the playoffs since 2005. And that was his second year when the Cavs lost a tiebreaking game to the New Jersey Nets for a playoff spot. A lot of the subscribers to /r/nba are teenagers who, realistically, have no clear memories of NBA playoffs without LeBron involved in some form.

Other than Golden State being Golden State, these playoffs are going to be like nothing weve seen in over a decade if the Lakers miss it. It will just be weird to watch those games without LeBrons #ZeroDarkThirty moment and not seeing him in playoff mode.

Hes gotta be PISSED.

此前我讀了一篇文章，上面說詹姆斯有可能會錯過季后賽，很多人專注于詹姆斯不能連續第八次殺進總決賽了，但是實際上他錯過季后賽的影響已經開始在我身上顯現了。

詹姆斯自從2005年以來就沒有缺席過季后賽，那一次還是他第二個賽季呢，現在很多上Reddit的都是青少年了，他們根本不明白季后賽沒有勒布朗究竟意味著什么。

所以除了勇士還是那個勇士，如果湖人進不了季后賽這將是我們超過十年以來第一次看到勒布朗錯過季后賽啊，季后賽里沒有勒布朗以及熟悉的季后賽模式真的是太奇怪了。

我覺得他應該會很生氣吧。

Why would you possibly do that? Itd be a tremendous over-pay.

Zion on a rookie deal is worth way more than 1 year of AD.

Just keep Zion and sign AD if he wants to come over in FA.

missing the playoffs while still being the greatest player in the league is definitely not preferable to losing in the first round as the 8th seed. missing it would be straight up embarrassing

especially if it’s like an insane performance on his part but he just can’t overcome the warriors it’s still prolly better for his legacy than missing it. also if by some miracle he does win it would go down as one of the best playoff series ever especially in the first round

Lebrons best chance at making it past the 1st round and possibly the 2nd round is at the 7th seed. (as in Nuggets vs Lakers rd1). They have very little to no playoff experience and they dont look built for the playoffs (like the raptors last few years). Any other 1st round matchup is a bad draw for these lakers (other than portland i guess)

My ideal west matchups would be:

1st warriors vs 8th kings (very close regular season matches)

2nd Nuggets vs 7th Lakers (rivalry and Unproven team vs a proven player)

3rd Thunder vs 6th Jazz (rematch)

4th/5th Portland vs Houston (2014 rematch and rivalry)

76人球迷：勒布朗最有希望突破首輪的就是帶領湖人沖到2號種子的位置（然后就是掘金VS湖人），畢竟掘金季后賽經驗比較少，他們建隊也不太像打季后賽的球隊（有點像過去幾年的猛龍），其他的首輪對手都太糟糕了（除了開拓者）。

我最想看的西部首輪對局是：

勇士VS國王（雙方常規賽差距極小）

掘金VS湖人（復仇以及未被證明過的球隊VS已經被證明過的球員）

雷霆VS爵士（當年再碰面）

開拓者VS火箭（2014年的季后賽對手，這次再復仇）

He chose this. I’m not saying he should have stayed here, tbh we are an embarrassment and deserved to lose him, but come on. If he really cared about winning he would have gone to Philly, Toronto, Boston, whatever. Doesn’t matter which team, they would have made room for him.

He chose LAL for the lifestyle and media exposure. And that’s all well and good, I’m sure his family is happy there, but as a basketball decision... it was not a great one.

a good portion of the nba playoffs is watching bron turn it on. while its hard for the lakers to make the playoffs, itll be even harder to make it out of the first round. regardless, i think casual nba fans (and more serious ones, too) get really excited to watch lebron go full-on terminator mode
