1. 停不了的小短嗝 Hiccups

打嗝（不及物動詞）和小短嗝（名詞，一般用復數）都是hiccup。

有些寶寶在媽媽肚子里就打小短嗝，出生以后著涼等情況下也會有此癥狀。

(1) Oh no, you have the hiccups.

呀，你打嗝了。

(2) How can I help you cure your hiccups?

怎么才能讓你不打嗝呢？

(3) You can try holding your breath, or drinking small sips of water. Some people think hiccups are psychological element. So by reciting what you had for your last meal, your brain focuses on something else and the hiccups go away.

2. 飽嗝 Burp

打飽嗝（不及物動詞）和拍嗝（及物動詞）都是burp。

在寶寶剛出生的幾個月里，無論是母乳喂養還是配方奶喂養，每次喂奶之后都要做的一件事就是“拍嗝”，有些家長是不拍出來嗝不罷休。

3. 口水 Drool

口水（名詞）和流口水（不及物動詞）都是drool。

1歲以內的寶寶在長牙階段會流口水。你查字典可能會查到slobber一詞，該詞多用于狗的流口水。

(1) Oh Silly baby, you are drooling. Let me wipe off your drool. It is better if you wear a bib.

笨寶寶，你還是流口水。我幫你擦掉口水。你最好戴個圍嘴。

(2) Thats a lot of drool. You might be cutting the tooth.

寶寶流了好多口水。肯定是正長牙呢。

4. 鼻涕 Mucus

擤鼻涕、流鼻涕、清鼻涕、黃鼻涕所對應的英文，不像中文一樣在前面加個字就行了。

(1) You need to learn to blow your nose.

你得學學擤鼻涕。

(2) Your nose is running. Let me help you wipe your nose.

你流鼻涕了，我幫你把鼻涕擦了。

(3) You have a runny nose.

你流鼻涕了。

(4) I think you are sick. The color of your mucus changed from clear to green.

我估計你病了。你的清鼻涕變成綠鼻涕了。

(5) Let me clean your nose by wiping out the inside with the tissue.

我給你清清鼻子吧，用紙巾給你把鼻子里面擦擦。

(6) You sneezed. Bless you. Did you catch a cold?

你打噴嚏了。你是不是感冒了？

5. 痰 Phlegm

痰（名詞）是phlegm；吐痰是spit（不及物動詞），或者spit（及物動詞）out the phlegm。

(1) Poor baby, you have phlegm in your throat, but you don’t know how to cough / spit it out.

可憐的寶寶，你嗓子里有痰，但是你不會把它咳出來。

(2) Spitting on the ground is bad manners. If you need to spit, do it into a tissue and then throw the tissue into the garbage bin.

在公共場所隨地吐痰不是好習慣。你要是想吐痰，應該吐到紙巾上，然后扔到垃圾桶里。

6. 屁 Pass gas, pass wind, toot

(1) Who passed gas? Oh, it’s you, my silly baby.

誰放屁了？是你啊，傻寶寶。

(2) That is so smelly / stinky. Do you have gas or does your diaper need to be changed?

真臭。你放屁了還是需要換尿不濕??？

(3) Try to wait to pass gas until you are in the bathroom or in a private area because it is bad manners to do it in front of other people.

想放屁要等一下，去廁所或者去沒人的地兒，因為當眾放屁不文明。

7. 尿 Pee 便 Poop

8. 其他

耳屎是earwax（不可數），眼屎是sleep（不可數），頭屑是dandruff（不可數），身上的泥、指甲里的泥是dirt（不可數）。

你查字典可能會查到mud，dirt一般指干的泥，mud一般指濕的泥。
